Pearmill Wins A Silver Drum Award

Last week, we got some exciting news!
Pearmill was awarded Silver at The Drum Awards for Marketing Americas for our work with Toybox.
The recognition came in the Media category for a campaign that helped transform how the brand approached growth. Our main change was to shift from a model driven primarily by paid acquisition to one built around organic engagement, cultural moments, and long-term brand strength.

We're incredibly grateful to the Toybox team for trusting us as partners in that journey.
But like our recent Webby nominations, what makes this moment meaningful isn't the trophy. It's what it represents.
The campaign was built around a simple observation: attention is easier to buy than confidence. While Toybox generated strong interest, parents needed more than awareness before making a purchase decision. They needed to understand why the product mattered. We showed them how a 3D printer can fit into their lives, their values, and how their children to learn and play.
The solution wasn't simply more media. It was a system of media that understands the audience.
Together, we reimagined the role of organic social, lifecycle marketing, and paid media to build trust. We were hyper aware of each parents’ state of mind at each part of the customer journey. And thus, paid media became more effective because the broader system was doing its job.
That's increasingly how we believe modern growth works. Not through isolated tactics. Not through chasing the latest platform feature.
But by building systems where strategy, creativity, media, data, and technology reinforce one another.
It's the same belief that sits at the center of Pearmill: Growth lives in the tension. Between performance and brand. Between systems and storytelling. Between human creativity and machine intelligence.
The work recognized by The Drum is a reflection of that philosophy in practice.
And while we're proud of the award, we're even more excited about what it suggests: that the industry continues to recognize work that blends strategic thinking with measurable outcomes.
