Ad Creative Newsletter #48
Vagaro
Visually, this ad illustrates very well what the copy is communicating. As the perspective pulls out and goes in again, it demonstrates the multi-functionality of the product. That checkerboard pattern breaks the usual flow of ads we encounter during our scroll.
Arevo
Ok, first of all these animated illustrations are super cool, combining form and function quite well. The storytelling is engaging yet succinct. If that’s not enough, the payoffs are clever and charming. Why doesn’t glue stick to the inside of the bottle??
Caviar
The use of motion here is clean and elegant. Nice pacing. The copy is smart and funny. All things difficult to pull off, especially with such brevity.
Instacart
There’s not much to this one. And that’s why we like it. Two lines of copy communicate the value prop concisely, while the animation dances in a synchronous and calming way. Very pleasing to watch.
Kin Euphorics
Besides being beautiful — can Kin decorate my bedroom please? — these ads pack a lot into a little bit of time and space, and still feel good. Great copy, testimonials, press, use cases. They’re working hard but feel effortless.
Spend Desk
These are certainly copy-heavy, but the equation and definition formats make for more engaging static ads — especially when attracting finance teams.
Oreo
Wow, lots going on here! But tbh the motion is fun, the messaging is clear, and it’s super on-brand. ¡Éxito!
